Poster making

Hello everyone,
I created a poster making project of Durga maa in photoshop. Durga Puja is celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm across India, especially in West Bengal, but its observance extends to various regions, each adding unique local flavors. Here's a look at how it's celebrated in different parts:

West Bengal
Pandal Hopping: Elaborate temporary structures called "pandals" are created, housing intricate idols of Goddess Durga. Each pandal showcases unique themes, art, and design.
Cultural Programs: Various cultural events, including dance, music, and drama, are organized in neighborhoods, reflecting Bengali culture.
Sweets and Feasting: Traditional sweets like "macher jhol" (fish curry) and various rice dishes are served, with families gathering for festive meals.
Assam
Traditional Customs: Celebrations involve rituals and community gatherings, with processions and cultural performances showcasing Assamese traditions.
Idol Immersion: Similar to Bengal, idols are immersed in rivers or water bodies, marking the end of the festivities.
Odisha
Barakhana Feast: A communal feast called Barakhana is organized, where people come together to enjoy traditional dishes.
Rath Yatra: The festival includes chariot processions in some places, reflecting the influence of Jagannath culture.
Bihar and Jharkhand
Local Celebrations: While not as grand as in Bengal, local temples hold special prayers, and families celebrate with community events and food.
Uttar Pradesh
Community Participation: In cities like Varanasi and Lucknow, people gather for prayers and cultural events, often in public spaces.
Thematic Decorations: Homes and temples are decorated, and community prayers are organized.
Maharashtra
Cultural Fusion: Celebrations include processions, music, and dance, with a mix of local traditions.
Food and Gatherings: Families come together for traditional meals, and local pandals may feature performances.
Southern States (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu)
Navratri Celebrations: While the focus may be more on Navratri, Durga Puja is observed with traditional dances like Garba and Dandiya, particularly in urban areas.
Northern India
Ram Leela: In many northern states, Durga Puja coincides with Ram Leela, depicting the epic tale of Ramayana. It includes theatrical performances and community gatherings.
